The Caribbean is by far one of the most popular cruise destinations in the world. The fantastic weather, close proximity to the US and tourist friendly locals make it an ideal place for a vacation.

The Caribbean is just South of Miami, Florida and consists of over 7,000 islands. Out of these 7,000 West Indies islands only a small proportion are tourist destinations. The sun shines all year round in the West Indies and below are 3 of the best places to visit in the Caribbean.

1. Southern Caribbean. Aruba and Antigua are both located in the Southern area and both are famous for their sandy white beaches. St Lucia has some of the best scenery of all the Caribbean islands and has some of the most beautiful rainforest in the world.

Because of the proximity of the Caribbean to the US it is extremely easy to get there. On some of the busier islands flights land hourly but by far the most popular way to see the area is via a cruise ship or an island hopper boat.
