Vacation Ideas - Great Places to Visit in Arizona

Located in Tucson, the Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the largest air and space museums in the world. More than 300 aircraft and spacecraft are on display, including many historical aircraft. Old Tucson Studios
Located just fifteen minutes from Tucson at the base of the Tucson Mountains is the Old Tucson Studios. Wild West entertainment is routinely shot here, and this set has been used for some of Hollywood's most famous western movies. Enjoy some old-fashioned barbecue, cowboy gunfights and stunts, musical revues, trail rides and lots of Old West fun.

Tombstone O.K. Corral
Located about 70 miles southeast of Tucson is Tombstone, Arizona and home of the famous O.K Corral. Walk where Doc Holliday, Virgil and Morgan Earp, along with Wyatt Earp fought the Clantons and McLaurys in 1881. Watch a reenactment of the famous gunfight and get your picture taken next to one of the life-size replicas. Your kids will have a great time.

Visit Sedona
Sedona is 116 miles north of Phoenix and is well known for its natural beauty. Enjoy a jeep tour or some fabulous hiking. Slide Rock State Park and Red Rock State Park are two favorites nearby that offer some fantastic scenery and outdoor recreation opportunities.

The Grand Canyon
No trip to Arizona is complete without visiting the Grand Canyon. Words cannot fully describe it and pictures do not do justice to this 277-mile long, one-mile deep wonder. It is located approximately two and a half hours north of Phoenix, surrounded by beautiful pine trees in Northern Arizona. The Grand Canyon Railway takes you from Williams to the South Rim.
